ICEC Group was proud to partner with Axiom Workplaces to deliver the electrical and communications solutions for the revitalisation of Slater & Gordon's Melbourne head office, located at 530 Collins Street in the heart of the CBD. Spanning approximately 3,300m², this project involved a comprehensive fit-out across three floors, focused on creating flexible workstation and collaboration areas for up to 300 staff while enhancing workplace engagement through thoughtfully designed meeting spaces. Our team implemented innovative electrical solutions to support the open plan layout.
To enhance energy efficiency and provide intelligent control over the lighting, we implemented a Clipsal C-Bus lighting control system. This system automatically adjusts lighting based on occupancy and natural light, tailored to different tasks in various areas—from focused work zones to collaborative spaces. The flexibility of this system was crucial in creating an adaptable environment that meets the diverse needs of Slater & Gordon's team whilst aligning with the company’s sustainability objectives.
Our communications works involved installing Commscope Cat6 UTP structured cabling across the office, providing Slater & Gordon's employees with a dependable network that supports high-speed connections for video conferencing, file sharing, and other essential communication functions.
A highlight of the project was the implementation of cutting-edge audio visual systems. Our team installed the necessary power, data cabling, and network infrastructure to support robust connectivity for virtual meetings and presentations.
